Robbery Appeal At Townsville

Detectives from the Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Railway Estate on 5 October.

Around 4.30pm a 17-year-old boy was riding his bike on Boundary Street, when he was approached by an unknown man at the intersection of Saunders Street.

The man assaulted the boy, stole the bike and fled.

The bike was recovered a short distance away.

The man is described as being of First Nations appearance, has a moustache and was wearing a black shirt, shorts and cap.

Investigations are appealing for anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.
