Robbery Appeal, Slacks Creek

Police are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Slacks Creek overnight, 29 September.

Around 10pm, a man entered a taxi on Smith Road and threatened the driver before stealing the vehicle and the driver's phone.

The driver still had the vehicle keys and was not physically injured during the incident.

The taxi, a green Haval Jolion Wagon, was located abandoned on Smith Street near the intersection with Christopher Street, a short time later.

The man is described as Caucasian with short blonde curly hair and tattoos on his neck and arms, wearing black pants and a hoodie.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with relevant information, including dashcam or CCTV vision that may assist with investigations, to contact police.
