At 8:10pm on Thursday 22 September 2016 a male entered the Ravenswood Takeaway, 67 Ravenswood Road, Ravenswood armed with a knife, Tasmania Police say.
His face was covered by a motorcycle helmet.
The offender confronted two staff members and left with a small amount of cash.
No one was injured.
Police seek anyone with information regarding this crime, or information relating to a small motorcycle or scooter observed in the area shortly before, to contact Launceston CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
