Robbery with violence at Chermside, QLD

Police are investigating a violent robbery incident that occurred at Chermside early this morning, Queensland Police say.

At about 12.05am, a man delivering pizzas to an address at Kuran Street was confronted by a group of approximately eight males and females.

One of the men demanded the victim hand over his car keys and money.

When the victim refused, the male offender punched and kicked the man to the head a number of times.

The victim ran from the scene however returned a short time later to find the pizzas stolen from the vehicle.

The man received medical treatment at the scene for minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
