Police are investigating a robbery with violence incident at a Westbrook business early this morning, 12 September.
Around 4.15am, two men arrived at a bakery on Main Street and assaulted a male employee who was standing outside the business before holding him on the ground.
One of the men then entered the store and stole a cash register before both offenders left the scene on foot.
A 22-year-old Centenary Heights man was taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital with serious injuries to his eye and head.
The first man is described as having a fair complexion and around 170cm tall while the second man is described as having a darker complexion and is around 180cm tall.
Both men had their faces covered.
Police are appealing to anyone with dash-camera footage, CCTV or other vision on Main Street at the time of the incident, to please come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
