Robbery with violence charge - Eagleby

A man has been charged following investigations into the robbery of a store in Eagleby yesterday afternoon.

Just before 3pm, a man entered the store on River Hills Road and allegedly removed money from the cash register.

The attendant demanded the man drop the money however he did not, instead allegedly pushing the attendant up against a wall before leaving on foot.

Police attended and patrolled the surrounding area. They located the man a short distance away on Dryandra Drive.

A 34-year-old Slacks Creek man has been charged with robbery with violence and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
