Robbery with violence charges in Strathpine, QLD

Police have charged three people after a man was robbed in Strathpine last night, Queensland Police say.

Officer were called to a Park on Stanley Street at 6.15pm following reports that a man had been robbed by a group.

It will be alleged that the man met a woman at the park and was then approached by two other males.

Police will further allege that the two males then punched the man and fled the area with his keys, mobile phone and wallet and used the keys to steal the mans car.

Officers located a woman at the scene and investigations led police to recover the stolen vehicle at Petrie.

A 19-year-old Bald Hills man has been charged with one count each of robbery with violence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and he is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court today.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with one count each of robbery with violence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A 25-year-old Margate woman has been charged with one count of robbery with violence and is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on June 28.
