Robbery with violence in Carindale, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance following a robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon in Carindale, Queensland Police say.

Officers were called to Scrub Road just before 1pm after a 16-year-old boy was approached by two unknown teenagers who made demands for the boy’s wallet.

The group wAS then involved in an altercation and the boy was thrown to the ground before the pair fled from the scene with a wallet.

The boy received treatment for minor injuries.

The two suspects are described as being in their late teens, both were Caucasian, and one had black hair and a beige skateboard.

Officers are seeking assistance from anyone that may have been in the area at the time and has dash cam to contact them.

Investigations are continuing.
