Robbery with violence in Woodridge, QLD

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed outside a Woodridge overnight, Queensland Police say.

Around 10pm, the 58-year-old man had confronted three people acting suspiciously around cars parked on North Road.

The trio then threatened the man with a knife as he walked towards his residence before stealing his wallet and slashing him on the hand with a knife.

They then fled the scene.

The victim sustained injuries to his right hand and was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The victim’s car has also been seized for forensic examination.

Investigations are continuing.
