Rock Throwing Update - Alice Springs

A 16-year-old male has been interviewed by Detectives from the Southern Investigations Division in relation to a rock throwing incident in which a nine-year-old boy was seriously injured last year.

It was reported to police that a rock was thrown at a passing taxi, in which the boy was a passenger, near the base of Anzac Hill near Wills Terrace on 16 November, 2017. , Northern Territory Police say

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The offender will be considered for youth pre-court diversion.
