A Rockhampton man has wasted no time admitting he'll be in the good books with his wife after pocketing $100,000 in today's Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Central Queenslander held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11073, drawn 11 May 2026 and took home a neat $100,000 prize.
Alongside the Rockhampton man pocketing $100,000 in today's Lucky Lotteries draw, a Frenchville dad and a mystery Emerald player have each won $2.5 million in the weekend's Saturday Gold Lotto draw - with locals now urged to check their tickets.
So far this year, Central Queensland has enjoyed four major lottery wins worth more than $6 million.
"I'm blown away. You never expect to win big and when it does happen, it's just unbelievable," he said when speaking to an official from The Lott straight after the draw.
"What terrific news to start my week.
"I wouldn't mind waking up to a phone call like this every day.
"This will certainly put me in the good books with my partner. I'll let her decide what to do with the prize.
"I can't wait to tell her. I'll have to wait for her to get home from work.
"It's going to take a while to sink in."
His winning entry of nine random numbers was purchased on The Lott website - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
