Rocky strikes again in Greenvale

Police with assistance from Rocky the police dog, the Dog Squad and Air Wing have arrested four people following an incident in Greenvale this morning.

It is understood the group were driving a blue Holden Commodore erratically and at high speeds, before evading police near Pascoe Vale Road, Broadmeadows about 3.20am.

Police followed the vehicle through various suburbs before it came to a stop about 4.20am in Catterick Court, Greenvale.

All four people attempted to flee the scene but were arrested with assistance from police dog Rocky and the Dog Squad.

A 19-year-old woman from Parkville was bitten on the arm by Rocky and arrested at the scene.

She was transported to hospital for treatment under police guard with minor injuries.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and transported to hospital for observation under police guard with minor injuries.

A 19-year-old woman and 18-year-old man were also arrested at the scene and are currently in custody.

No one else was injured during the incident.

All four are assisting police with enquiries and the investigation remains ongoing.
