Queer Expo, the first Queer Culture Expo in the southern hemisphere, brings together Queer celebrities in an ALL AGES event format. Queer Expo launched in 2017 and continues to build on the success of a unique, accepting, Family friendly format by bringing fan favourites from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and the rest of the Queer world.
What once was an underground artform designed to rebel, entertain, and engage a disenfranchised community of outcasts, Drag has quickly become one of the hottest entertainment forms, on a global scale. At the forefront of LGBT rights around the world, we have moved into the spotlight, selling out stadiums and theatres around the world, and now the stars of the hottest Drag show on Worldwide television are coming to Australia.
Queer Expo is a 2 day, ALL AGES expo/ convention event, featuring Panels, meet and greets, performances, photo opportunities, exhibitor stalls, and the country’s richest Drag competition. Held in the heart of St Kilda, Queer Expo is in its second year, and with the full line up now announced, Queer Expo plans to become a mainstay in the Australian LGBT event calendar, bringing people from All over the country to Melbourne.
