Safe stolen during restaurant break-in, SA

Eastern Adelaide CIB detectives are investigating the theft of a safe from a Rundle Street business early last month, according to SA Police.

About 3.30am on Tuesday 4 October, a man broke into a Rundle Street restaurant through a rear door and stole a safe. He then put the safe into a wheelie bin to transport it north along Vaughan Place onto North Terrace, near Ayres House.

The suspect is described as a man about 170 to 180 cm tall, with a heavy build, prominent nose, wearing a black balaclava, black hooded jumper, dark pants, dark sneakers with white stripes at the bottom, dark gloves and carrying an orange backpack.
