Salisbury Downs attempted robbery - do you know the suspect?

Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Salisbury Downs last night, where a man was threatened with a hammer, according to SA Police.

About 10.30pm on Sunday 29 July, a man was sitting in his car in the western car park of the Hollywood Plaza shopping centre when another man armed with a hammer ran up to his car and demanded money.

The victim refused to hand over money, and the man smashed the driver’s side window with the hammer before running away empty-handed.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, slim build, pale complexion, clean shaven and was wearing a hooded jacket and tracksuit pants with a white logo on the left leg.
