Sandringham Street Library now open

What better way to foster a love of reading than a free book exchange! The Mayor, Councillor Michael Heffernan, officially launched the new Sandringham Street Library on Friday 11 October.

This collaborative project was initiated by Margaret Fitzherbert (pictured with the Mayor), in conjunction with the Sandy Street Art Project, the Beaumaris branch of the Bayside Men's Shed and Bayside City Council.

Pop down and borrow a book from the library or drop one in to share with others. The new Street Library is located on the corner of Waltham Street and Station Street in Sandringham.
