School lockers damaged - pair arrested, SA

Police have arrested two teenagers after they allegedly damaged some lockers at a school in Golden Grove, according to SA Police.

Just after 12.30am on Saturday 18 November, patrols were called to Golden Grove High School on Adey Place, after reports of an alarm activation.

Patrols set up cordons and several people were seen running away from the school shortly after police arrived.

A 16-year-old boy from Greenwith and an 18-year-old from Fairview Park were located nearby and have been charged with unlawfully on premises and property damage after police discovered a number of lockers had been vandalised.

The 16-year-old has been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court while the 18-year-old has been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court. Both will appear on 22 December.

Investigations are continuing in relation to a third suspect.
