The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) are hosting SDG Digital, a high-level event at UN Headquarters on Sunday, 17 September, showcasing the role of digital to accelerate achievement of the 17 UN Sustainable Goals by 2030.
SDG Digital is part of the UN's SDG Action Weekend, a series of events focused on bringing solutions for the SDGs to scale - including through the UN's High Impact Initiatives such as digital public infrastructure.
As part of SDG Digital, partners will launch the SDG Digital Acceleration Agenda, a global analysis of the connections between digital technologies and sustainable development. The agenda highlights how safe, inclusive and scalable digital solutions can serve the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It also provides guidance to governments and prompts joint action and diverse financing for their digital transformation journey.
