Police are coordinating a search for a man reported missing from Cape Tribulation, Queensland Police say.
A man was fishing on the Daintree River near the Creb Track yesterday afternoon and police were contacted after his belongings were located at the edge of the river.
A land search commenced late yesterday and a helicopter and a number of vessels also assisted, however the man has not been located.
The search was scaled back overnight and Water Police remain on the scene.
The search has recommenced this morning.
