Police have commenced a search and rescue operation for a 21-year-old woman missing from Upper Haughton since yesterday, 6 October.
Tara Rawnsley last contacted her family around 2.15pm on Monday and has not been seen or heard from since.
It is believed she may be on foot, or have been travelling in a black Polaris Ranger ATV in bushland around the Haughton River, near Bill Britt Road.
A search and rescue commenced this morning, 7 October, utilising the assistance of POLAIR and SES.
Tara is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall with a slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding Tara's whereabouts to come forward.
