Search and rescue of missing child in Warwick, QLD

Police and emergency services searching for a missing child near Warwick have located the child safe and well, Queensland Police say.

At about 3pm on April 20, the 3-year-old girl was reported missing along with the family dog from a property at Cherry Gully, 30km south of Warwick.

An extensivie land and air search was conducted with the assistance of SES, Polair and Rescue 511.

At approximately 8am the child and dog were located on the family property approximately 2km from the home.

The child was located with minor cuts and abrasions.

Police would like to thank all of the people involved in the search and successful location of the child.
