Search continues at Glenelg for missing girl, SA

Police and emergency services are currently searching waters off Glenelg for a missing teenager near the Holdfast Marina, according to SA Police.

About 5.50pm, police were called to the area after reports that a group of teenagers had trouble swimming in the ocean.

Four teenagers were rescued by local surf lifesavers, and the teenagers were later taken to hospital by ambulance officers for assessment.

One teenage girl remains missing in the water.

Police from the Water Operations Unit and the police helicopter assisted lifesavers in the search for the missing girl.

The search has concluded for tonight, and will resume tomorrow morning.
