Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man reported missing from Campvale, north of Newcastle.
Kevin Garton, aged 42, was last seen leaving his Richardson Road house about 8am today (Saturday July 2019) and walking into nearby bushland.
Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District were notified and canvassed the area, also commencing a search of the bushland.
Police and family are concerned for Garton's welfare.
Mr Garton is described as being of Caucasian appearance, average height with a medium build, with dark hair and green eyes.
CCTV vision depicts Mr Garton wearing a dark coloured jumper with white on the shoulders, long blue coloured pants and brown boots.
