Search for men following burglary in Canterbury

Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to following a burglary in Canterbury in August, Victoria Police say.

Shortly after 8.30am on 25 August, two men have entered a house on Hopetown Avenue and stolen a number of items, including a credit card.

The pair then paid a visit to a shopping centre in Doncaster where they have used the card at a number of sporting outlets.

It’s believe they travelled to the shopping centre in a 2009-2014 grey Mazda 3 with stolen number plates XPD 586.

Detectives from Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit are investigating the burglary and deception, and have released images and CCTV of the two men they wish to speak to.

They have also released an image of the vehicle the pair are believed to have travelled in.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone with information regarding the identity of the men or the whereabouts of the car.
