Search for missing boy Evan Gatt-Bolton

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing St Albans boy Evan Gatt-Bolton, Victoria Police say.

The 11-year-old spoke to his grandmother earlier today and police believe he may have left home to meet her in the city.

Investigators believe he was sighted by a construction worker on the tracks at Ginifer Railway Station about 1pm wearing his red school polo top and brown shorts.

He was then seen boarding a city-bound train about 1.10pm.

Police and family members hold concerns for Evan’s welfare due to his age and the fact he has an intellectual disability.

He also does not have a mobile phone with him.

Police have released an image of Evan in the hopes someone may recognise him and be able to provide information on his whereabouts.

Evan is described as about 150cm tall with a solid build and short brown hair.

Anyone with information or who sights Evan is urged to contact Keilor Downs Police Station on 9365 3333.
