Search for missing man in Northern Beaches

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from a retirement home on the Northern Beaches yesterday.

Timothy Pickup, aged 70, suffers dementia and other medical conditions, and was last seen about 6.10pm (Monday 18 February 2019), at his retirement village on Lakeshore Drive, Narrabeen.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance and a search was commenced.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance with white hair and an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a red, blue and black striped polo shirt with beige shorts.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Pickup is asked to contact Dee Why Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
