Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Leslie Sherlock, Victoria Police say.
The 79-year-old was last seen leaving a hospital on Burgundy Street in Heidelberg just after 6pm.
Police and family have concerns for Leslie’s welfare due to his age and he requires medical attention.
Leslie was last seen wearing bright blue runners, black track pants, blue jumper, bone coloured jacket and was carrying a blue suitcase.
He is known to frequent the Heidelberg, Watsonia, Collingwood, Clifton Hill and CBD areas.
Police have released an image of Leslie in the hope someone recognises him.
Anyone who sights Leslie is urged to contact Heidelberg Police Station on 9450 8000.
