Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 68-year-old man Anastasios Karatzas, Victoria Police say.
Anastasios, better known as Tom, was last seen in the Chadstone area about 7am this morning.
Police and family have concerns for the Mount Waverley man’s his welfare.
Investigators have released images of Tom in the hope that someone may recognise him and provide information on his current whereabouts.
Tom is described as about 183cm tall with a medium build, olive complexion and is balding.
He was last seen wearing navy shorts and a white polo top with navy stripes (shirt as pictured below).
It is possible he is travelling in a grey Nissan Sedan, registration 1DG 6RL.
Anyone who sees Tom is urged to contact Oakleigh Police Station on 9567 8900.
