Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Lale Taua.
The 17-year-old was last seen about 2pm yesterday (2 February).
It is believed he may have been in the Melbourne CBD.
Police and family members hold concerns for Lale's welfare due to his age and have released an image in the hope someone provide information on his whereabouts.
Lale is Pacific Islander in appearance with a medium build and brown hair, which is shaved on the back and sides.
He was last seen wearing a white jacket with shorts.
Anyone who sees Lale or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Mernda Police Station on 9216 1200.
