Search for missing woman near Tamworth, NSW

Police will search remote scrubland tomorrow for a woman missing from the state’s Central West since August. , NSW Police say

Kay Pacey, 62, was last seen on Monday 8 August 2016, when she was dropped at the intersection of Forrest Way and Black Gap Road, Niangala, by a taxi.

Police have been told she was dropped at the location with clothes, food and other items.

Ms Pacey was reported missing to police last Tuesday (11 October 2016)

Despite extensive inquiries she has not been located.

Concerns are held for her welfare due to her age and medical issues.

tomorrow, police with the assistance of the Dog Unit and trail bikes will search the area around the Hanging Rock State Forrest on the eastern side of Forrest Way.

Ms Pacey is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 152cm to 162cm, with brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts or who may have seen Ms Pacey is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
