Search for suspects following golf course break in, SA

Police are investigating a break in at a West Lakes golf course in the early hours of this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 1am, Tuesday 6 February, police were called to Lochside Drive after reports of voices and lights on the fairways.

Police quickly cordoned the area while police dog PD Ruger was called in to search, but he was unable to locate anyone at this time. It is believed the offenders left on foot via the northern boundary.

A search of the grounds found that a shed had been broken into and two green keeper buggies taken for a joy-ride on several of the greens, causing substantial damage. Damage was also caused to items inside the shed.

Crime Scene Investigators will be attending this morning to examine the scene.

Police are asking anyone with information on the intruders or information that may assist the investigation to contact @CrimeStoppersSA on 1800 333 000, or on line at www.crimestopperssa.com.au – you can remain anonymous.
