Police are currently undertaking a search of the Leichardt River approximately 30km from Burketown for a man following a boating incident, Queensland Police say.
Initial reports are that police were advised around 11.30pm that a boat believed to have been carrying two men had been found upturned.
One of the men from the boat was found and has been transported to Burketown Hospital. The second man has not been located.
