The search for a man who went missing while fishing at Bewong Creek in the Shoalhaven yesterday has been suspended, NSW Police say.
Just after 8.10am this morning today, emergency services located the body of a man in the creek.
While the body has not yet been formally identified, is believed to be that of an 80-year-old man reported missing yesterday.
Police attached to Shoalhaven Local Area Command will prepare a brief for the Coroner.
