Search underway for boy missing from Yagoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's south-west.

Tyler Roberts, aged 11, was last seen about 9pm yesterday (Saturday 25 May 2019) at a house on Auburn Road, Yagoona.

His parents noticed him missing this morning and reported it to officers from Bankstown Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation.

Police believe he may be attempting to travel to a relative's house in South Australia and hold concerns for his welfare due to age.

Tyler is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm to 160cm tall, of thin build with red hair and a fair complexion with freckles.

He was last seen wearing pyjamas and may be carrying a black suitcase.
