Search Underway for Missing Central Coast Woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state's Central Coast.

Louise Herring, aged 65, was last seen at Gosford Railway Station, yesterday (Saturday 14 February 2026).

When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Louise's welfare due a medical condition.

Louise is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm-165cm tall, large build, with blonde/grey short hair and black eyes.

She was last seen wearing a brown, full length dress.

Louise is known to frequent the rail network.
