Search underway for missing man, Mount Coot-tha

Police are seeking assistance to locate this man

A search is underway to locate a man missing from the Mount Coot-tha area since yesterday (October 4).

Investigations indicate the man (pictured) left his North Brisbane address early yesterday and drove in the direction of Mount Coot-tha where it is understood he regularly takes a morning walk.

His vehicle was located yesterday afternoon around 2pm at Dillon Road, The Gap, however the man has not been sighted.

A ground search commenced yesterday in Mount Coot-tha and is continuing today with assistance from SES.

Police and the man's family hold concerns for his welfare.

He is described as Caucasian, 176cm tall with grey hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or has seen him is urged to contact police.
