A search is currently underway for a missing rock fish angler in Port Kembla.
Police believe the man, aged in his 60s, left Bankstown on Saturday morning to go fishing at Port Kembla.
The man has not been seen or heard from since. His vehicle was found by police in the carpark at Hill 60, Port Kembla earlier today (Monday 26 August 2019).
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District are conducting a search of the area with assistance from PolAir and the Marine Area Command.
Police inquiries are continuing.
