Search underway to locate teen missing from Sydney's South-West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Sydney's South West.

Mohamad Al Ahmad, aged 13, was last seen leaving a house in Sandal Crescent, Carramar, about 9.00am on Saturday 4 February 2023.

When he failed to return home, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police have concerns for his welfare due to his disappearance being out of character.

Mohamad is described as being Middle Eastern in appearance, 160cm to 170cm tall, medium build, black curly hair, tanned appearance. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants and white sneakers.

He is known to frequent the Carramar, Liverpool, Bankstown and Campsie areas.
