On 18/01/2017 police began an investigation into an Arson at 6 Boronia Place in Gagebrook, Tasmania Police say.
Overnight two further scrub fires were located and extinguished near Tottenham Road in Gagebrook.
Approximately 1:35am police were conducting patrols and identified the house from yesterday’s Arson incident was again alight.
Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) attended and extinguished the fire, however the residence was completely destroyed by the fire. TFS fire scene examiners and Tasmania Police forensics services have conducted examinations of the scene.
The residence was again unoccupied. Costs of damages are estimated at $140,000, and the house will now be demolished.
