Second Man Charged With Attempted Murder, Aspley

Police have charged a second man today following investigations into an alleged shooting at Aspley last month.

Around 10.50pm on Tuesday, 25 August, police attended Centre Street, where they allegedly located a 24-year-old Aspley man with two gunshot wounds.

He was transported to hospital at the time in a serious condition.

Following investigations, detectives from the Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch today attended an address in Griffin and arrested a 25-year-old Griffin man.

The man has been charged with one count of attempted murder.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 9 September.

The arrest follows the charging of a 33-year-old Narangba man on August 28.
