Second person charged after Kings Park stabbings

Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a second male tonight in regard to a fatal stabbing in Kings Park on Saturday (28 September).

Two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, both from Kings Park were taken to hospital with life-threatening stab wounds following an altercation between the pair and a group of males on Main Road West about 2.30pm.

The 17-year-old died in hospital as a result of his injuries, the 18-year-old has since been discharged from hospital.

An 18-year-old Sydenham man was charged on 8 October with one count of murder, armed robbery and intentionally cause serious injury.

A 17-year-old boy from Hillside has tonight been charged with one count of murder, armed robbery and intentionally cause serious injury.

He will appear at a children's court tomorrow.
