About 4.20pm (Monday 24 November 2025), emergency services were called to Bruce Purser Reserve on Caballo Street following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command arrived to find a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to his leg.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene, and detectives from The Hills – with assistance from State Crime Command's Homicide Squad – commenced an investigation under Strike Force Crawton into the incident.

As part of the investigation, strike force detectives charged a 15-year-old boy over his alleged role in the fatal stabbing. He remains before the court.

Following further investigations, strike force detectives – with assistance from officers attached to the Public Order and Riot Squad – executed a search warrant at a home on Collins Circuit, Rouse Hill, about 9.45pm yesterday (Tuesday 25 November 2025).

During the search police arrested a second 15-year-old boy before taking him to Castle Hill Police Station where he was charged with murder.

The teen was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Wednesday 26 November 2025).
