Second woman arrested after brick thrown from car

Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit officers have arrested a second woman after a brick was allegedly thrown from a car in Narre Warren last month, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged the brick was thrown from the stolen vehicle at another car while travelling along the Monash Freeway on 19 November.

No one was injured during the incident, however the victim’s vehicle sustained minor damage.

Dandenong FTU officers attended an address in Scott Street, Dandenong yesterday morning (13 December) and arrested a woman after a short foot chase.

The 26-year-old of no fixed place of address has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, drive in a manner dangerous, drive while disqualified, careless driving, discharge missile, aggravated littering and unrelated offences.

She has been remanded to reappear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 19 December.

A 40-year-old woman of no fixed place of address previously presented herself to a police station on 12 December.

She continues to assist police with their enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
