Second woman dies in Elizabeth North incident, South Australia

A second woman has died following an incident at an Elizabeth North home last month.

About 6.50pm on Sunday 26 July, police and paramedics were called to a home on Whiteparish Road.

A 92-year-old woman was found deceased inside the home.

A second woman, aged 62, was found unconscious and was treated by paramedics before being taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital.

The 62-year-old woman never regained consciousness and subsequently died in hospital on Friday evening (31 July).

Police can confirm that the two women are mother and daughter who both resided at the address.

Police wish to reassure the community that no one else is being sought in relation to the incident at this time.

Both of the deaths will now be subject to a coronial investigation.
