Secret Millionaire: $20M Powerball Prize Awaits Discovery

A Powerball player from Sunbury, Melbourne, might be unknowingly stepping into the weekend as a new multi-millionaire, having won a colossal $20 million in Thursday's Powerball draw.

The mystery Victorian, with the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1436 held on November 23, 2023, remains unidentified as the winning ticket was unregistered.

Lotto officials are keenly waiting for the winner to check their ticket and come forward. They urge any Sunbury resident or visitor who bought a Powerball entry from Nextra Sunbury, located at 14 Brook Street, to check their tickets immediately.

The team member at Nextra Sunbury, May Crotty, expressed excitement over selling the division one winning entry, marking it as the 32nd such achievement for the outlet.

"This is our 32nd division one winning entry sold since Nextra Sunbury first opened and the excitement never ends," she said, highlighting the store's history of contributing to life-changing wins for its customers.

The winning numbers for the draw were 35, 31, 32, 7, 23, 33, and 4, with the Powerball number being 5. This win in Victoria is part of The Lott's division one winning tally, which has reached 372 so far in 2023, including 126 won by Tatts customers.
