Seniors Festival Showcases Community Spirit

Throughout October, Mornington Peninsula senior residents got out and about to enjoy close to 100 events across our region. Spanning themes such as music, nature, home making, intergenerational gathering, art, exercise, 'come and try' days, films and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The annual festival aims to bring people together to enhance social connections, encourage lifelong learning, movement and having fun.

Highlights included the sold-out Australian Fleetwood Mac Show at the George Jenkins Theatre, the Get Active Expo at Camp Manyung and the come and try sessions at the recently installed Seniors Exercise Parks.

This year, we introduced the Seniors Passport, a carefully curated brochure with discount vouchers to some of the Peninsula's most amazing wineries, restaurants, spas and experiences.

The Shire would like to thank everyone who participated, volunteered and supported the festival. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
