Serious Crash Arthur Highway in Dunalley, TAS

Police are calling for witnesses following a serious motor vehicle crash on the Arthur Highway near Dunalley, Tasmania Police say.

Police attended a serious motor vehicle crash on the Arthur Highway, Dunalley adjacent to Sunset Beach, about 3pm on Sunday 3 June.

The crash involved a white 2017 Toyota Camry hire car, a white 2001 Hyundai Accent Hatch and a 1991 Toyota 4WD towing a trailer.

There was disruption to traffic with one lane of the Arthur Highway closed.

Two woman, a man and a 6 month old boy were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital by Ambulance Tasmania with non-life threatening injuries. The child and father were discharged from hospital later that evening and the woman were in a stable condition awaiting further tests.

Police are investigating the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact Dunalley Police via the switchboard via the non-emergency police contact, 131444 with their information.
