The road is now clear following an earlier crash on North East Road at Gilles Plains, according to SA Police.
Two cars collided at the intersection of Lurline Avenue and North East Road, Gilles Plains at 7.45am on Saturday 31 December.
An occupant was trapped in one of the cars and had to be cut out of the vehicle by attending MFS crews.
Emergency services have cleared the scene.
