Inquiries continue into a serious crash in Campbelltown yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 5.30pm today, a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Hilux collided on Campbelltown Road, Denham Court, near the intersection with Brooks Road.
The 55-year-old female driver of the Corolla was trapped in the vehicle for a period of time before being released.
She was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to serious leg, pelvis and head injuries. She is understood to be in a stable condition.
The 72-year-old man driving the Hilux was able walk from his vehicle. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to rib injuries.
Police from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command have commenced inquiries into the cause of the crash and are appealing to anyone who witnessed it to contact Macquarie Fields police on (02) 9605 0499.
