At approximately 11.10am today Thursday 7th February 2019, a serious single vehicle crash occurred on Cradle Mountain Road, Erriba, Tasmania Police say.
As a result of the crash a 24 year old female sustained critical injuries and was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital by helicopter.
A 24 year old male also sustained serious leg injuries and was conveyed to the North West Regional Hospital Burnie.
Police would like to speak with anyone who saw a blue Mitsubishi Pajero travelling in a northerly direction prior to the crash.
At the time of the crash it was cloudy, the road surface was damp in sections, and traffic flow was light.
